Después de lanzar el disco Back Home en el 2007, la única noticia conocida sobre los irlandeses de Westlife fue su inminente separación. De todas maneras, el grupo dejó en su camino algunas canciones que si bien no renovaron el pop, supo sobresalir sobre otros como Five y los extintos Backstreet Boys. El álbum Coast to coast tuvo entre sus sencillos una reactualización de Uptown girl, tema firmado por Billy Joel. ¿Lo mejor? La presencia de la supermodelo alemana Claudia Schiffer como la musa que le da título a la canción.
